July Recap (18 months old)

We signed Aryssa up for swimming lessons at the YMCA here since she enjoys being in the water so much. I was super excited and just sure she would do great. They were going to be every saturday for 6 weeks. She had her first class on July 10th. They began with us lining the babies up on the side of the pool (with mommies in the pool) and we had to grab them and dunk them under water and then cheer when they came up. Aryssa did AWESOME with that. She had no problems going under water. Well...then they had us get in a circle with the babies in the water and sing songs as we splashed and twirled them around in the water....that is when all hell broke loose. Aryssa doesn't like singing...unless it is on the radio. I don't know why she doesn't but she will cry and scream until the singing stops. Needless to say 95% of the class is singing to help ease the babies in the water so we couldn't participate as much since Aryssa just screamed and screamed. So then I took her the next class the following Saturday (daddy came this time to take pics) and same thing at first she was doing great...then the singing would start and she would cry and scream. Not a very fun experience I was looking for.  I took her to the 3rd class and same thing. Well she got sick after we went for her well baby check up on july 19th, as she always does because for some reason they must not dissinfect the office very well between sick and well visits. She missed her 4th lesson due to being ill. SO I made the decision that we just would not go back. I just kissed the $115 good bye and will hopefully try again next year when she is **fingers crossed** over this not liking singing stuff.

So she popped 2 more teeth this month so # 11 top left molar on July 3rd and #12 top right molar on July 31st. 

The other news in the family is Rob was unable to find a job here so he decided to take a contract job in Iraq for a year so we have just been getting ready for his deployment and spending as much time together as we can before he leaves. Aryssa getting sick at the end of the month kinda put a damper on some of the plans we had so we basically just stayed home.
