6 months old Today

Wow does time fly by. I can't believe my baby is already 6 months old. It has been a struggle and continues to be a struggle, however it has also been such a joy and blessing. I can't remember life without her.

Well today has been an exciting day aside from it being her 1/2 birthday. She woke up in a GREAT mood. She was giggling and smiling. We had feeding therapy today and she had baby food for the first time she tried sweet potatoes. She didn't hate them, which is awesome. However she didn't swallow any but that is okay. Jodi the therapist kept going on and on about how Aryssa was being so giggly and talkative. Jodi said she was having such a horrible day until Aryssa cheered her up with all the smiles and squeals and giggles. She was so good for her. Rob went to his first session with us today so he could see the progress she has made with his own eyes instead of hearing it from me. He was so proud of her. She has been showing so much more personality everyday. I think she is going to be a comedian because she acts so silly sometimes. After therapy was over she took herself a long nap and woke up again with ALL smiles and laughing. I would put her in her musical jumper and she was just talking away at me. I really wish I could speak Aryssa, sure would be interesting to know what she had to say. It is always nice when we have a good and happy day. When she smiles you just can't help but smile too. Makes the whole day a GREAT day. Oh and daddy and I had brownies to celebrate her 1/2 birthday... and they were yummy. =)
