Tomorrow (Tueday), Tennessee Early Intervention Program is sending someone out to the house to evaluate Aryssa. If she is behind in 2 or more developments then she will qualify for state help. If they qualify her then they should pay for her feeding therapy sessions (our part after insurance) and any other therapies she may need. That will help out a lot , we are paying $80 a week for 2 thirty minute sessions. The pediatrician and the therapist think that she will qualify due to she is defiantly developmentally behind orally due to the feeding issues. We will see what happens tomorrow.
Then on Wednesday, she has an appointment with her pediatrician. She wants to see if Aryssa's reflux is improving with her new meds. She had stated that if they have not, then she is going to refer us to a GI doctor. The answer is no, she had not improved she is still throwing up, therefore we will probably be referred. Jodi, the therapist also believes that we should see a GI doc. She thinks that there was a problem there all along and now that tube has made it worse. We will see. Well that is all for tonight. Will post any news of what is going on this week.
